Tookurra Border Collies is situated on 35 acres in South Australia's sunny "Riverland" overlooking the mighty River Murray.
With a life-long love of animals, particularly dogs, I am very grateful to my wonderful family for allowing me to follow a dream and let these beautiful dogs into our hearts and our home.

1993 saw the arrival of our beloved "Angel" Australian Champion Tullacrest Lady Oth Nite CD and in 1996 Tookurra Border Collies was founded with the arrival of Angel's first litter of puppies.
Our dogs are all very special members of the family and enjoy country life, swimming in the river, conformation showing and training in obedience, agility and herding. Over the years they have done many nursing home and school visits - a testament to their wonderful temperaments.
As showdogs the "Tookurra Kids" have done us proud and although limited by distance to the number of shows we can attend, have achieved much success. We aim to breed happy, healthy puppies that are raised in a loving environment, with every care taken with their early socialisation and all of our breeding dogs are hip and elbow score xrayed and DNA tested for CL, CEA and TNS or clear by parentage.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the breeders of the dogs behind our dogs, those who shared their bloodlines with us by entrusting us with the care of their own dogs or allowing us to use their stud dogs.
Thank you also to our wonderful puppy owners for giving our "babies" the special homes they deserve and for keeping in touch with updates throughout their lives.
